Some of you will remember Denver whom NWESSR and ESSW were working together to find a home for, Liz and Mick up at NWESSR found him the perfect home and here is a little Denver update that they have kindly passed along, looks like he has definitely landed on all four paws, well done NWESSR.
 What his owners have to say Not a day goes by where he doesnt amaze us , be it retrieving something , or simply walking round an object thats not normally there at home..We look at him and still find it hard to believe that he's blind.He is such a loving caring dog , and we all love him to bits .Even our other dog cassie gets on with him really well when she can be bothered . She sleeps more than not at the moment in her twilght years,occasionally she lifts her head as Denver steps over her!! He just loves his walks , and as I've mentioned before , we have an area of green belt just behind where we live , and he has the freedom to be off the leash there as there are no dangers for him . He knows it better than us now and always leads the way.If you stop just for one moment , he senses this and is straight to your side.Occasionally he may miss judge something , but rest assured he remembers for next time .. He's a star !!! At home he has his favourite places , one of which is our bed!!! He only ever goes on it when we are out , or if one of us gets up early , he will join the other - Picture enclosed!!He just loves plastic bottles and hiding them in the garden , but bless him, whilst he thinks its burried securely , we can't help but laugh as you see the bottle top peaking out of the gravel , but as far as Denver is concerned , we can't see it either !! He just wants to play with everyone that comes to the house , and leads them to the back door , straight outside and retrieves a toy.Once its is thrown for him , its returned to your feet , regardless of where you are in the garden , he will find you ! We thank you once again for introducing us to Denver , he is a very special dog, and we couldn't imagine our family without him!! It's so lovely to see him so happy  What a great job they are doing --------------------   If you don't own a dog, at least one, there is not necessarily anything wrong with you, but there may be something wrong with your life! |

How amazingly brilliant we had the pleasure of meeting Denver and his family and if you ask me they all fell on their paws SUPER SUPER SUPER
