I've had a very worrying day. A man came this morning and he's gone through the house and taken away all those big metal things that get warm. Barnie is really angry because he even went in our room - well it's not all ours but it's where we go in the day. Dad isn't at home at the moment so Barns went on duty - he's barked and barked all day just to keep us safe - isn't he a hero!! - I bet he's got a sore throat now.

Barns and me were in big trouble yesterday. Mum was in the glass thing and I climbed up on the wall again and this time I jumped down the very deep bit and was stuck - no chance of getting back. Mum had to go a long way until she could get in the other garden and rescue me. She wasn't very pleased - and THEN - when we got home Barns had had the bin and was busy eating all the goodies. Of course I joined in and grabbed what I could. Well I've never heard mum so angry but we kept on trying to grab things until she grabbed us and put us both outside. Mind you I think we might be going to have a present because she said, 'You two are going to get some discipline'. What is discipline - will I like it? I'm hoping it's something to eat.

Are you sure that Max is the murderer? If so we've got another one - BAL - and he lives with me. We are always seeing evidence here - mostly feathers but sometimes chewed mice. He's at his worst at this time of year because there are babies about and they're easy prey - isn't that horrible - but that's cats for you!
