The Ally Rally was set up by the members of Spring Thing to remember a good friend, Ally Hickman.
We were all shocked and saddened when Ally's partner Simon told us that Ally had suddenly died at the end of September 2007, she was only 27

The idea of some kind of of memorial was suggested and eventually members came up with the idea of the Ally Rally whereby Triumph the cuddly Springer would travel the country, meeting ST members and raising money along the way which will be donated to some of Ally's favourite rescues.
