Forgot to say he also swallowed Barbie's boots and skirt when my niece was playing with it.

Obviously didn't like the style!

You can add:

Stair carpet
Telephone (landline)
Socks
The coat rack!
My security baseball cap (pleased about that, I look ridiculous in it!!)

God only knows how he got the coat rack off the wall, I could have swung on it myself it was bolted so firmly! laugh.gif

I’m so glad to see that mine isn’t the only one who has chewed telephone cables. When Mali was a puppy she chewed through the telephone line 11 times. It took this number of call outs for BT to finally agree with me that it would be a better idea if the junction box was moved from the skirting board to a position 6 ft up the wall huh.gif
It’d be impossible to list what she’s chewed over the years, but two of her most spectacular have been a hedgehog, obviously dead as I didn’t hear any screams from the poor animal, and a pot of terracotta coloured paint ohmy.gif .
The first I knew of the hedgehog incident is when I found what appeared to be sweeping brush bristles under the kitchen table, and the paint adventure came to light when a strange terracotta dog walked in the house carrying the remains of a plastic paint pot blink.gif

ROFL! biggrin.gif We can now add to the list now that Hamish has joined us:

Hands (he's not fussy who they belong to)
Kitchen Gate - objects to going to bed
Ruby's ears - needless to say Ruby objects to this
Kids rucksacks
Reflective bone on his collar - until I shorted the chain!

In car electrics, me thinks pup is being a "good boy" laying curled up on the floor of the car behind the passenger seat, but the "devil" was chewing a wiring harness which was not observed until the dashboard lit up like a christmas tree blink.gif , "Service light" "airbag warning" "seat belts" not fastened.
Repairs £100 ohmy.gif he now travels in a seat belt harness with his "it wasnt me look on his face !!

My Mikey ate a very expensive, new pair of shoes, several cat toys and he just loves paper cups!! He is still very young and we're hoping he will grow out of it.

my two chewed a box each this morning. i emptied the biscuits from them (boxes not dogs), and put a digestive biscuit in each. They had so much fun getting the biccies out and i bet you can imagine what the lawn looks like. And i had fun watching them.xx

Hi - I've been lucky so far and not had a dog that chewed - Rupert my foster boy (but not for much longer sad.gif ) has started my list off ..........!!

So far he's chewed:

A biro - ink all over the kitchen floor
Envelope and contents off table
Fish slice (which he pinched from out of the sink)
Table mat
and Lancers buster collar was very nicely decorated all round the edge with holes! biggrin.gif

............ bless him !

Rose, Zak, Rupert & Lancer

PS - I don't think he chews his food though............. it disappears too quickly for that rolleyes.gif

But he does love to chew pigs trotters and pigs ears

Maisiesmum- 01-05-2008
Ok, we have had Maisie a month now and so far she has chewed a pair of cuddly animal slippers beyond recognition, the shelf on my waxed pine coffee table, stripped the wicker legs on the conservatory furniture and her la-*test*-('") conquest is a 9 roll pack of toilet rolls when DH left some of the shopping still in carrier bags in the hall (he put away the edible stuff thinking the rest was safe! laugh.gif ) looked like it had been snowing when Maisie had finished. All this as well as her own toys, bed and about 25 balls totally destroyed. we luv her though!! wub.gif wub.gif

my mums dog used to shell the peas from the pods whilst they were hanging on the plants in the veg patch, leaving the pods on the plants and no peas on our dinner plates!

forgot to add he does like to go in the crisp cupboard, takes a flavour he fancys, and rips the bag open, and eat them all laugh.gif

C.J.- 01-22-2008
Other than toys, I think there must be something wrong with Paddy laugh.gif He has only really chewed a hole in the interior lining in the boot of the car when he was a puppy.

Unless you include the countless empty crisp packets that he digs out of the bins and then shreds into tiny pieces tongue.gif
