The time is getting nearer - 2 weeks til pupsters are born. Fingers crossed that mums have an easy birth and that pupsters are all healthy wink.gif

Just a pet carrier type thing for socialising your pupster. With new vaccination guidelines meaning pups last vaccs are at 14 weeks ohmy.gif even more important to make sure pup is out and about getting socialised but not picking up any nasties wink.gif

Hi Kelly - exciting news! biggrin.gif
Maybe Tilly was an extreme case but I would never have got her to stay in one of those carriers as a pup - had terrible trouble carrying her even at nine weeks and ended up putting collar and lead on her to give me something to hang on to and keeping a very very firm grip indeed. She was very muscular, very wriggly and just wanted to be on the ground - and those kangaroo back legs were very very strong indeed!

I did post about it at the time on the Champdogs forum 'socialising wriggly puppy' and had lots of good advice but don't know how to link to it from here ...

Maybe your pup will be easier though (or maybe some of the carriers have some kind of harness inside?)...

We put Dotty in a game bag which she LOVED!

We used a rucksack/backpack carried it reverse so your face to face with the pup lined the bottom with a towel for accidents, lots of licks when you carry him/her.
introduced it as part of game hiding things in the bag, he loved it ! ideal for trips to the vets etc

It sounds all so exciting Kelly...can't wait myself laugh.gif

When Fippy was wee I didn't know about these carrier thingies for dogs, I did as Gingerella said, put a lead and collar on, sat with her on a bench in the Highstreet and carried her about. Soo many people come and speak to you if you sit there with a puppy smile.gif

Kelly
I had a good chat with Sue last night, a little lady went to the vets and they still don't know if she is or not, the first little lady is most definitely full of pups, Sue says she is enormous and really playing up to the fact. biggrin.gif
