we're going to stay with friends in Sible Heddingham, and would like to know of a few places i could suggest we all go to keep the dogs/kids entertained (they have two lads, 9 and 11 and a 19 week old German Shephard pup) - anything coastal would be particularly exciting as my two haven't seen the sea!

Jaywick sands is dog friendly and parts of the beach in Walton on the Naze are dog friendly.

Its about 45mins to an hour drive from where you are staying.

Thats about all I know, not sure what Manningtree is like or the area around there.

Southwold in Suffolk, further up anywhere on the North Norfolk coast Hunstanton Area

Right - its the big day tomorrow... we're off on our hols to stay with my best mate and her cream carpets!
