We (Oldies Club) need to move Tilly a JRT into her new foster home.

Tilly is legally owned by Oldies Club and we have full liability insurance in place. However, we do ask volunteers to advise their motor insurers they are transporting for dog rescue so that they are covered for all eventualities.

Tilly is to be transported in a secure but safe manner. No children or pets should travel in the same vehicle without our prior knowledge and approval. Transporting guidelines will be issued to everyone helping with this run.

The full journey is from Newport, Gwent NP19 to Grantham, Lincolnshire NG33 taking approx 3 hrs 45 mins.

The route will be through Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Midlands, Leicestershire.

M4, M5, M42, M6, M69, M1

If you can help could you please state where you can meet up either side of your journey. Then I can work on finding volunteers to meet up with you at those points.

I have my first offer in and it's for the last part of the journey

J21 of M69 to foster home in Grantham.

Could possibly do Strensham Services M5 to M69/M1 interchange which is where I am guessing your other offer starts the onward journey. (As I live in the area I would prefer to do local roads rather than all motorway which may alter timings a bit but it would be better for my fuel).
