When the time comes to say our goodbye

since you led me away from that kennel gate.

You have walked me fed me and loved me

Love that poem. My mum and dad had to make the painful decision on Saturday morning to let their beloved German Shepherd Cross, Sheba, be put to sleep. She was suffering from Stomach Cancer and painful advanced arthritis in her spine. They are struggling to cope with things at the moment, may or may not show them this poem. Its hard isnt it, but the hardest thing they had to cope with was the fact that Sheba was having a 'good day', but those were very few and far between.
