Chico has had a busy day, pics have to be through the kennel as things stand at the mo as I don't want to risk anything for a photo opportunity.

I will not rush him but equally for all concerned if he definitely won't fit with the guys it is better he doesn't get too attached to any of us. He is such a sweet dog and his earlier -*test*-('") today for recall, retrieve and starting pistol (also would only have been done today if he was up for it) went really well.

He has met Freddy in the garden and although Freddy is not totally won over we only had one Alpha Male outburst which Chico understood and after that Freddy was sat having stokes by my feet and Chico was sat on the garden bence being cuddly. I know Freddy well and although he is Top Dog he also needs to remember that I AM BOSS so while I let him go so far he also has to know that rules are mine.

He met Mugi and as long as he ignores Mugi (and while he seems confident with other dogs he is not wanting to overly interact or exert himself so takes his cue from them) they will get on fine.

Brice is desperate to play but Chico needs a bit more time before I allow that.

Chase also was supposed to be waiting to meet his potential new brother but he sneaked into the kennel about half an hour ago and is still there making friends in quite a relaxed way .

It all looks really calm and relaxed, well done Sue, Brice looks so chilled and desperately wants to meet his new 'foster' brother, I wish everyone was as careful as you in introductions, so many people rush things and that's when it all goes wrong, slowly, gently is definitely tyhe way to go espoecially when there's a few to introduce them to.

If Chico can be friend Chase with no problem's aka Brittany stylee I think you're laughing, I won't count my chicken's just yet though.

Looks like things are going well.

I'm always very careful when bringing new dogs in because Katie is very very protective of her boys. It takes her a while before she knows it is safe for them to interact.
