OK, this is in its early stages, but...
I am having some artwork done to create and ST logo and banner, we need an identity that can be used to promote the site with stickers, t-shirts and hand-out cards for when you meet other springer owners.
Its been a long time coming as I didn't want to do it half arsed and needed to have some money set aside to do it.
anyway, as well as having the banner and car sticker and logo images I want to have a t-shirt designed but the same artist. Basically the t-shirt will be the website name and website address on the front with an oval shaped circle (??) around the title using about 6-8 images of Springers - so for example 1 of the images will be our logo image - which will all be revealed, and that leaves about 6 or 7 images still to be decided. Now these are going to be cartoon images summing up the springers on ST - for example we will need 1 picture of a welshie, 1 of a springer doing agility, 1 of a springer retrieving something or flushing a pheasant - this can be artistic licence in that the pheasant can be added and maybe other ideas you might have. There is plenty of time as our artist is just out of hospital but the more prep work we have the easier it will be. Now if your image is chosen you will then be able to buy the cartoon sketch (if you want) so long as its OK if I keep a copy to use for the website - if that makes sense (won't be very pricey), and this then helps me fund the image production costs.
If this all makes sense you have about a month to add some interesting images to this thread - bear in mind its for a cartoon so nothing too busy and complicated and obviously a clear image will be best.

Freya - here is an online album of some of the Springer photos I have taken on some of the meets. Feel free to have a look to see if anything is suitable - we may just need to ask permission from the dogs owners - all of which are on ST anyway.
