Sir Freddy- 09-26-2008
Well, today was the day that Piper, Chase AND Brice were left free together while I went shopping. I was a tad anxious but at the end of the day I had to bite the bullet sometime.

When I got back I was greeted with this...................

Yay!!! What a relief smile.gif I was so nervous the first time I left Badger with the girls too as he has a habit of biting them which just annoys them! But like you say, gotta do it sometime. Well done boys!!! biggrin.gif

I have just loved reading your posts about Piper and the way in which you have thought it all through and gone about organising it all leaves me speechless.

Sue you are fab biggrin.gif

selina- 09-26-2008
Sue I'm absolutely beaming, I can imagine how you must be feeling, now you can start to relax just a little bit laugh.gif laugh.gif

laugh.gif Look at the way they're all at you through the doors laugh.gif I'll bet they saw you go off for the camera and their expression looks a little impatient biggrin.gif

It looks like you can be a little less anxious about leaving them together now smile.gif I wonder how much Piper has helped this along smile.gif

Def Selina, Fred is still a bit too managing but the three youngest boys are really getting on and I can def relax. Brice was always going to be my hardest (although I know you thought it might be Chase) cos he has learned to defend himself by aggression.............which Steve ties in with how Piper is. He is a definite pacifist although he took a dislike to a lab in the beaters van yesterday, even then though he settled once I told him the dog was ok.

As some of you will know Piper is entire at the mo and obviously according to ESSW rules he will be neutered. I am however (hope Selina doesn't mind me posting this) not planning to neuter till Feb when the season finishes UNLESS he shows signs that behaviour or health will be compromised. This will stay within the timescale of ESSW Rules but will let me work on his training through the season without a break and perhaps more importantly will let him settle in the pack before changing dynamics.

The change of dynamics and settling a dog is very important and it'snot as if you're goingf to let him be naughty, not with all the eyes watching everything you and Piper are doing and as you've already sauid it's within our ESSW timescale so no rules broken biggrin.gif

Ohh boys, well done lads smile.gif

makes perfect sense to me too. It's not like you are an unknown wink.gif just someone who know's what they are doing and more importantly doing it for the right reasons, Pipers.
