A few grey hairs and bottles of wine later . . . . . . and we have . . . . . . and 8 and a half month old Welshie . . . . . still pushing it (don't ask about bare botty bites ohmy.gif ) . . . at the VERY naughty teen stage (thinks he can take on every dog on the planet rolleyes.gif and thought it would be a particularly good move to posture and bark at a slightly annyed and irritated Pit Bull blink.gif ) . .

still has a lot of learning to do, and a lot of attitude to channel . . . . . here is my big boy last night wub.gif

Where does the time go??? And why do they grow up so quickly sad.gif

Bagpipe- 09-27-2008
I'm smitten (again laugh.gif ), he looks more stunning by the minute, what a gorgeous boy, must make up for all the normal Welshie stuff...aka naughtyness biggrin.gif

Sir Freddy- 09-27-2008
He is soooo scrummy, despite being crossed with a giraffe (where does that neck come from??). I love seeing these pics as getting Fred as a screwed up 13 month old I have no idea how welshie pups mature. I know Baby B is pushing boundaries (I think he and Chase may have had words at the fling rolleyes.gif ) but he is still a very stunning young man who makes you melt wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif .

Agree with the last comment though . . .that boy holds up every walk we go on with people stopping to talk about him and wanting to 'touch' him rolleyes.gif biggrin.gif

There's something about that remark about the giraffe cross - no need to get him show trimmed to make the neck appear longer! laugh.gif He's growing into a handsome lad, even if his forequarters have yet to catch up with his head & neck. tongue.gif But his head is gorgeous, and his coat is coming along nicely too, and I can only blush with envy about those neatly trimmed ears!

Time flies by indeed! Already Rhian's trials and tribulations that first fall seem so far back.... rolleyes.gif

What a lovely set of pics. He looks like he had a wonderful time smile.gif.

He is looking great. He'll grow into that neck (is it possible that it looks a little longer than it is due to the loose collar?). He is obviously a guy with a lot of character smile.gif.

See he still has some puppy fluff, he is definitely going to have quite a lot of coat - you are going to have a lot of practise on your trimming skills biggrin.gif.

Oh my life, he gets more and more handsome!

Thank you Kelly for more gorgeous pictures to keep me sane while we wait for ours. Our first choice of 'puppy mummy' due in season any day now, soooo exciting!

WEIGHS IN AT 19.5 KILOS

OMG - it took my over three years to get Freddy to that type of weight (ie he was over 4 yrs old) and even now he is hard to keep weight on and is approx 21kg.

Barhi- 11-04-2008
Wonderful photos - the boy is becoming a man biggrin.gif

Heck! And I was so proud that I'd got Tilly to almost 15kg!

He's looking splendid! wub.gif

swiss springer- 11-04-2008
OMG, look at the size of him! How high does he stand? And the weight! blink.gif

Rhian is on the tall side for a bitch I think, about 47 cm (she always behaves like a beaten cur when I get the meter out ph34r.gif), but she's hardly ever much above 16 kg. I seem to remember that typical weight for WSS are in the 16 - 20 kg range, but of course dogs would be at the upper end.

But B is still growing, so where will he end???!!! ohmy.gif
