Temptation!

We live next to an Organic farm, and have a smallholding of our own.

Yesterday the farmer called with (pre arranged) 100lbs of organic beef, all jointed etc. Now, this is a lot of beef, and I had to open the bags, sort out the packets (you don't want to have to pick out twenty packets of stewing steak before getting to a joint from the freezer.)

Moxie was very excited to see the farmer and ran in and out as he brought the bags in, but then didn't pester me at all. I had to take the meat out in boxes to the deep freeze, which is in an outbuilding. After the second trip, realising there was nothing in it for her, she went to her cage and stayed ther. Considering I had all the meat out on the worktop I thought she was amazing.

Mind you, I don't feed her Raw. I have a feeling I wouldn't have been so lucky with the Sirloin if I did!
