Karen I have no idea what a goldie's hair is like so wouldn't have a clue wether you should strip a goldie or not, could you ring a grromer and ask?

Maybe ask Mary? I couldn't see a problem, the goldie up the road in the last village used to be well groomed but SO much hair....is it not a goldie on the "furminator" demo vid?? These seem to be very similar

woooohpie - got mine this morning - chased Rubes around the house - she thought i was putting more cream on her poorly neck

anyway she loved it - went to sleep while i groomed away - looking good

tempted to offer the amount of fur taken off her to little homless birdies for nesting material

Same here.

Got mine yesterday and tackled my working cocker, springer and hairy collies with it last night. By the time I'd finished there was enough fur to make several small dogs.

It's the best thing I've bought in a long time. Really pleased with it.

Perhaps we could donate all our dog hair to someone to make a jumper with

I've used a lot of combs and brushes over my many years of doggy ownership and I really have to say it's one of the best things I've ever used and compared to the price of the original furminator it can't be beat! In my humble opinion I think it might be worth getting a spare one too

I've also put a couple aside for the fling as well, so there's no panic
