Was sat in tears when my dad showed me this earlier, how, why can people do this?

I just don't understand why people do this to defenceless animals... Why is it so hard to just take the animal to a shelter or rescue if unwanted

This is around an hours travelling away from us.A phonecall was all that was needed for us to come out and pick the poor dog up long before it got to this stage.

Poor poor dog, what an awful way to die, he must have been terrified.

Prison would be too good, and a large fine not any better. I'm not a believer, but I just have to hope that when they meet their maker, whoever that might be, they get their just reward for this act of selfish, evil cowardice.
