your home has got some thing missing
you look around the house
But what is it thats wrong
the floor in the kitchen is clean
theres nothing on the floor
every think is in its place
the living room is tidy
your throws are where you place them
the rug is beside the fire all neat
your cuppa is still half full
the hall has the shoes in it
the stairs are clean
even thought u did then the other day
your room is neat and tidy
the quilt is still fully on the bed
your cloths are still in the washing pile
and you can see the clean carpet
so what is missing from my home
i sit and think then i remember
what is missing
its my beloved tasha and the thing
i miss every day is her mess
you say to your self when they are with us
i am sick of your hairs
as you brush them away from your pillow
and you hoover them up from ever where
but after awhile we want them back
the hairs, muddy paws mark on the floors
the spoiled water on the floor with the dry food
from one end to an other of the kitchen
then the hairs over the settee
the cuppa that is finshed off
the throw all over the place
the rug in the middle of the room
the stairs full of hair and dirt
shoes that has been moved
your bed in a mess
the washing pulled out and on the floor
with more hairs
and toys that she had left there
your home want a soul back in the house
for with a dog of any kind
it dosent just bring in dirt and hairs
it brings a warm lovly feeling
that only a dog brings
I guess that is why we end up
with a new one once they have gone
as nothing but a dog can give your home
that soul of been lived in to it.
i know each dog is different
but i know my home is now
ready for a new soul
and hopefully soon it
will have it back.
ty very much it been 9months now and like i say in the poem the house dont seem the same .
