We need to arrange a place of safety and transport a male black cocker aged about 12 months from Birmingham to Lizzies Barn, Kidwelly Sth Wales, who have offered him rehab space.

He has severe food aggression when fed by a man. So please ensure you can segregate him from male members of family, before offering.

This dog is due to be PTS tomorrow or Saturday.

Please don't let Spencer die!

Spaniel Trust will help with petrol costs for anyone willing to do a leg between Birmingham and Ross/Abergavenny, as we know that the petrol issue is preventing a lot of folk from offering to help transport just now.

Where in B'ham and could he be picked up of an evening?? I am committed both tomorrow at the Royal Show, Stoneleigh (exhibitor so not an option to change the day) and then on Sat at Usk Showground but if I could collect Fri eve and then keep him crated overnight and someone could pic him from me about 8.30 from Ross on Sat I could help.

I know that is less than ideal and I am sorry I can't be more flexible. He would need to be ok travelling with two other dogs but all crated seperately.

The person who is currently the "owner" is unavailable during the day as works in a hospital and can't use her mobile. But I will check the details with her tonight and get back to you if thats ok? Very happy for him to travel with other dogs and crated overnight is fine. Was that 8.30 am or pm at Ross?

A lovely little lad is currently residing in a crate in the kitchen after supping in my kennel but then become somewhat gobby .

He is a sweet little man who hopefully will do well following his rehab placement, he certainly deserves this chance.

The boys are completely intrigued by the visitor but he doesn't need the added stress of meetings on his short stopover.
