Just had an email from Sarah, and it's the same decision as yesterday, Milo is to come home for a while and see how it goes.

I guess Sarah might be along later to give more details, but it's not the improvement everyone was hoping for, so keep those positive thoughts going for Sarah and Milo.

well, he is home, purring all the way. all set up in my bedroom with food & litter, his belly is so swollen bless him, vet said effect of liver disfunction, full of fluid or something.

saying that, he has got himself on and off the bed without any assistance, has had a wee and eatenn some food, and cleaned up his bottom pretty well, though i think now he is flagging a little sad.gif
will take each day as it comes, ive got a/bs and steriods til tuesday, then see from there whether he can carry on.

must admit, though he is seeming happier to be home, i somehow dont think he will get better. sad.gif he is very grateful for all the ST thoughts xx as am i xx

Oh bless him, poor boy sad.gif
Glad to hear he is home though, as you say he is bound to be happier with you than at the vets.
Thinking of you and Milo, and praying that he starts feeling better and beats the odds.

little milo update, not great though sadly

hes been home a day and half, certainly happier at home, moving about, using the litter, eating with gusto, but such bad diorhea, last night i heard him go at least 7 times ( a couple of which missed the tray).

his tum is still very swollen, and i'm syringing water as well as givig him tablets. he is enjoyig being on the bed with me, getting lots of fusses, purring away, but i'm facing up to facts that its not likely that he will overcome this, and tuesdays vet visit will probably be his last sad.gif

thanks for all of your support and positive thoughts for him, the swee-*test*-('") little boy is very grateful xxx

I'm so sorry to hear this Sarah, if you need a chat you know where I am, I'm around most of the weekend.

Will keep positive thoughts coming and will be there with you in spirit on Tuesday sad.gif

I'm glad he's back home with you - he's obviously happy even if very poorly.

What a handsome cat wub.gif

Penel- 08-23-2008
I'm really sorry he's still so bad. As I said to you, it sounds like something really so serious sad.gif thinking of you both.
