well done those people for not returning him to the breeder!

Wishing Snoopy a happy life wherever he may go, not sure I'd be able to part with him if he came to be on foster tongue.gif

Poor Snoopy sad.gif

Nice to see there are some decent people out there still who caremore about dog welfare than money!! xx

I thought it was illegal under the Animal Welfare act to sell a puppy under 8 weeks?

Sorry - my mistake - it's under the Breeding and Sale of dogs act 1999 - http://www.opsi.gov.uk/acts/acts1999/ukpga...1_en_1#pb2-l1g8

'Sale of dogs (1) The keeper of a licensed breeding establishment is guilty of an offence if—
(a) he sells a dog otherwise than at a licensed breeding establishment, a licensed pet shop or a licensed Scottish rearing establishment,
(cool.gif he sells a dog otherwise than to the keeper of a licensed pet shop or a licensed Scottish rearing establishment knowing or believing that the person who buys it intends that it should be sold (by him or any other person),
(c) he sells a dog which is less than eight weeks old otherwise than to the keeper of a licensed pet shop or a licensed Scottish rearing establishment,

Are dogs being sold in pet shops in the UK? What a horrid idea! sad.gif

Poor little lad. I hope things soon start to look up for him. So sad that puppies are sold at such a vunerable and young age.

Snoopy is now Harry (David & Elaine didn't like Snoopy) and as you can see below is gorgeous and doing well. The vet has thinks he is more like 3-4 weeks sad.gif than 5 weeks. Which considering he had been in a home a few days before he came to us and that he was the last of the litter to go is very very worrying (how old was the first of the litter to go sad.gif )

Anyway I don't want to think about that so I'll just get to the good bit.
