We do the full shorn sheep look - ears, legs, the lot smile.gif

I agree it makes them look totally different, but then all I want is for my dogs to be as comfortable in the heat as possible. I don't give a monkeys what they look like. laugh.gif

I have never had a problem with the coat growing back different either.

tongue.gif Ibo got a breed cut, which was a No1 on his back and flanks, and his feathers trimmed the groomer left a fringe around his undercarriage, when he came out he looked like Paul Weller,

I've just clipped my two this weekend and I decided to do it because I felt like this. They do look a bit odd, but they are still very handsome biggrin.gif and they are more comfortable in themselves.

i`m lucky with my two they are not very heavy coated so all i have to do is groom them ( ive been using a furminator) and trim their feet once in a while

Well jenny is off to the groomers tomorrow for a proper tidy up so we'll see how we get on.

Will post before and after piccies when we get back. Its going to be challenging to say the least as straight off she has only has one full ear due to one being partially ripped off before we got her blink.gif

When ever I've clipped our lot they have a mad 1/2 hour the same as they do after having a bath, none of them have gone fluffy and all are neutered.

Even if I had the time I wouldn't spend time grooming them, they get checked over at least once a day, the rest of the time is for playing not being prettyfied ph34r.gif

It's horses for courses, if you like grooming and there's no doubt that generally dogs like being groomed, if you don't then the clippers are the best thing since sliced bread.

This is the look I go for too anything to keep them lovely and cool. It takes 5 years off them when we clip them and they run around like pups.

We don't have a problem with the coat growing back different either - however I wish it would, since Jacks boy op a few years ago he's had an awful coat anyway.

laugh.gif reminds me...one day I met the owner of a 12 year old Collie on a walk (I met quite a few times before), asking her in surprise whether she's got a Collie pup...no, she said, she just has been clipped laugh.gif laugh.gif
