We tried to rescue Sam who was a large powerful 5 yr old SS from our local Rescue Centre a couple of months ago.We had many visits with him over a two or three week period and were keen to take him home despite him being bad mannered! Unfortunately the doggie intro went badly and because we have Max (on wheels) couldnt risk Samcoming to stay with us until much more socialisation had taken place at the center.Two or three other people tried to offer him homes but couldnt.We dont know the exact circumstances of the last dog intro but "as bad as it gets" was the description
Sadly the decision was made by the center and Sam was euthenised today.

Sam we are so sad little man we couldnt do more for you , run free big dude we will help you cross one day xx
