Thank you every one for your healing thoughts, they're definitely working

As of 6pm, Holly has improved, in that she is now able to stand on her own, she's refusing food and water so is staying on the drip over night.

The vet who did her cruciate is looking after her, she really is a lovely vet, she's got a great bed side manner both with the animals and the the quivering wrecks that are the owners, and knows her stuff, although this one has got her baffled, all blood chemistry is fine and a very slightly raised temperature.

She's probably in the best place actually, it's mayhem here

brillant news Robert - i have been so worried - will say some more bedside prayers tonight for you Pat and Holly

I am sooo glad she is showing signs of improvement Robert - hope she continues to improve and can come home (even if that is in flux!!).

Oh no poor Holly! I hope your vet gets a clue as to what's up and that Holly really rounds the corner soon.
