I have been really inspired by Molly's story and would love to get Kimba & Kofi sorted out! Unfortunately the only really local gundog trainer who has been recommended to me uses electric collars!!! I would rather struggle on than that.

Amanda has recommended Languedoc Labradors in South Oxfordshire which I am going to contact but they are some distance from me so I thought I would just check if anyone can personally recommend a gundog trainer in Hampshire/Surrey/Berkshire/Wiltshire?

Ive been to a training day where Alex of Languedoc Labradors was running a session. He was very good.

You could also try looking on UKGUNDOGS.org..training and look for one in your area.

A good trainer is worth his weight in gold..and the travel time too and from.

I agree with Jo in that having a good trainer is worth the travelling, I did go to another trainer before Alex and that was a distance and had a terrible experience .

got to agree distance no object for a good one, we do a 170 mile round trip for Mike, but its so worth it
