| Will post a pic later but a slip lead is a one piece lead cum collar which loops through an "O" ring and has an adjustable rubber "stop" on the lead to prevent the dog from backing out of the lead. Hopeless at explaining things!!! Oh yes and they are great for people who have difficulty fastening triggers/snap fasteners etc 'cause there aren't any! |

It sounds as if it would work in a similar fashion to a choke collar, but in a kinder way, Am i right? I am struggling with pulling, we use a canny collar for long walks to preserve my arms but our training school doesn't like them (and neither does Alfie) so i am using a standard collar for teaching heel but am getting nowhere fast. |

| Will put up pics tomorrow Steve sorry but I've been a bit distracted today with arrangements for a certain ball mad Wocker! I agree with you Steve I wouldn't use a slip on a "puller" either, can't you find somewhere to off lead exercise him BEFORE you take him out on the lead Alfiem (sometimes helps a bit if they have run off some energy first then they are more inclined to pay attention |
