Very naive question (but after Fudds' post I had better ask biggrin.gif ) Can Sophie live on rabbit alone or does she need something else????

We are, at the minute, getting loads of bunnies and loving it (cos its free....) obviously she loves them but I worry that she needs something else sad.gif

A rabbit complete with pelt, head and organs, other than the guts which really should be removed because of internal parasites would have pretty much everything a dog needs, you are after all getting the offal in the liver, kidneys, lungs and heart, the fur, brains, YES the eyes, bones and all the meat although rabbits being classed a a lean meat as long as you feed the pelt there will be sufficient fat coverage inside this for the dog to get the fat it needs. Fed in it's whole state like that it really is the perfect meal, they might get fed up with it though, mind you saying that all mine would eat it all the time if given the choice but our supplies at the moment are rather sporadic rolleyes.gif Get it while you can laugh.gif
