i brought some pork ribs today. When i give these to oliver will he be able to eat the boness as well cause they seem very hard.
He had some mixed organs today, heart, liver and kidney with egg in and loved it very much.
I am still concerned about quantities. At the moment i weigh out 200gm for breakfast, lunch and dinner and hope this is enough as i dont want him to lose weight.

Pork ribs are fine. Genreally it is advised to give non load bearing bones, to give bones of young animals (and the pigs slaughtered for us won't be old at all), that's why chicken wings are fine for example and rib and breast bones of pork and lamb or the bone in belly slices.

Amount wise...2-3% of the expected adult weight, sorry I don't know now how old Oliver is. I suppose a pup as you feed three times a day. You'll soon find out whether it's too much or not in the way he looks. Although pups go through all kinds of funny shapes till they arrive at the right one laugh.gif

You do well!!!

do you think i should chop his food up into small pieces as he just doesnt chew but gulps it down, which i think is causing all the problems.
He is a very greedy dog and eats everything as fast as posssible. I thought this might slow it down but he is determined just to wolf it down

When you say all the problems- has he been sick more than once?
