Hi Jo. Thanks I will purchase a proper comb/brush a s a p. I have taken poppy to the vets this morning, she is 22.5 and should be 16-17 so we have a way to go. I am a little worried, gave vet nurse Pops old vacs card, It says she has had previous owner before the last one, yet we were told she had been a stray? The vet nurse says something does'nt add up, and she has taken details of previous vets to try to find out. Poppy is unsure of some men, and looks frightened when they come to near. Everything else seems to be coming along slowly. Ruby cat is still staying up stairs, which I hope will change one day I will let you know what the vet nurse finds out. Jayne X

I'm sure all will turn out just fine, and that it's just been a mix up, the vet's and maybe if you get in touch with Sally she can shed some light on it to.

Hope all is cleared up now Jayne...have told Kym you will send her an e-mail over later Great that she's settling so well....and yes it takes an age to get...twigs...sticky buds...burrs and all of the other bits & bobs they fetch back out of thier coats, am sure mine do it so they get extra attention

what a great story Jayne - I am so thrilled that Poppy has landed on all 4 paws! Sally is a great girl and it is all thanks to her that Dillon is happily lying here upside down with his legs in the air!

Thankyou to all for the support that you have given me already. Thankyou to Kym for giving me the info that I needed, I have passed it on to the vets. Poppy has just come back from a lovely long walk, where she met up with a friends dogs Jet and missy, they all had a great time running around. We then saw a lady with three dogs so off she went with her two new buddies to say hello. mandy my friend had brought her camera, and has taken some great shots of all the dogs together. I will try to get some pics sorted to put on here soon. The sun has been out today. But its nothing to the sunshine that Poppy has brought into our lives she truely is one special springer.

I'm so glad things are working out well. It isn't entirely easy losing those extra kilos but I'm sure all that walking will help!
