Poppy is a beautiful 5yr old b/w ESS girlie. She is looking for a new home as her owners are due to have another child and feel they would like her to find a home where she will still receive lots of attention. Her owners are very upset but feel this decision is being made in Poppy's interest.

Her current owners found Poppy straying 3 years ago and despite contacting all local wardens and kennels Poppys owners did not come forward. Faced with the decision of having to put her into kennels she stayed put! She currently lives with 2 collies, cats and rabbits and gets on well with all. She has no agression issues, does pull on a lead but is better on a harness and has excellent re-call.....especially if a tennis ball is to hand.

Poppy does suffer from seperation anxiety and will yelp/bark if left for an hour or more, although she is not destructive in any way. Poppy is fully housetrained, upto date with her vaccinations and microchipped. Poppy is not yet neutered, but has never had a season. She has had several blood -*test*-('")s done over the years to determine the cause but to no avail. She is in excellent health but a little overweight.

Poppy is fine with children of all ages and very affectionate, she travels well in the car and sleeps in the kitchen on an evening in her own basket.

Poppy is looking for a new family who will be home the majority of the day to help her work through her seperation anxiety.

Dah! sorry in my excitement just read her post again says she is good with all. Shame you are so far from me poppy, you would be Ideal. I work from home so you would have lots of company.

Transport runs can be arranged so might still be worth enquiring if you're interested ...she's only a couple of hours from you

Really !! I have just had my home check with springer welfare south west (yesterday) Do you think she might still be available? I have a funny feeling about her, can't explain it sort of smitten I guess. In all the time I've looked at rescue site's I have'nt been this drawn to a doglet
