My baby Ghillie is in the wars. I noticed last night that his eye was swollen and runny, on closer inspection his -*test*-('")icles were also very red and angry and his little boy bit was swollen too.

I think he has been stung several times. He was sick and had some runny poo and his face and nose was swollen too.

As he was breathing okay I gave him a piriton and the same again this morning as he looks like elephant man. Im going to call the vet when they open to see if I should take him in..

He's eating well and seems lively enough but any advice would be appreciated

My advice would be too get him to the vets asap, my pup went into the bushes and came out with wasp all over him, and he was also stung on his back and next to his little boy bit....but just went red, they was red for a few days and i put germolene on it and he was fine. Didnt have any other signs at all.

I use vinegar or lemon juice immediately on stings. The acid helps neutralise the sting and takes away the horrendous pain.

I do hope Ghillie is OK.

Ghillie is much better today, the piriton I gave him seemed to work and when I rang the vet she said as long as he wasnt struggling to breath we'd be okay.

Sorry just seen this, same thing happened to Bam and we just gave him piriton and kept an eye.

Poor babe ! Glad to hear Ghillie is now recovered.

We had this with Jessie just a few days after we got her. Presume she was bitten/stung by something as she broke out in hives all over her body. Luckily she was Ok after about 45 mins.
