@ we're not breeders, well who mated the dog and bitch then My guess is they'll do it again Very irresponsible breeding from a rescued bitch where they have no history regarding it's back ground.

As you can see you've had nothing but positive replies Deb so it just goes to show we all agree with your motives and reasons for doing what you did, we all need to make it clear that pups should be sold to the right home, a home where they will remain and be happy and well cared for during their natural life and not just be traded in or sold on like a Ford Mondeo when something new comes along, they become too expensive to run or go out of control when conditions aren't right!

I rehomed a dog the other day that had been sold to the wrong home, the breeders last motivation for breeding more pups.....they wanted a Lexus car and the amount of pups they bred that year went on to pay for the vast majority of it and that came straight from the breeders mouth to my own ears, my reply back wouldn't be suitable for a public forum

Good for you for sticking up for what you believe in. And I don't get it either, if she's a rescue, and her papers have been held by the rescue centre (as with K-9Krazy's Bracken) then she is either too young to be having a litter, or she should have been spayed after her first season, or am I getting that wrong??? If the papers were not part of the deal (i.e. they didn't know where she came from) then how can he know she is full pedigree?

Something just doesn't add up if you ask me.

Breeding from springers will never stop . They are the most popular breed in the uk and puppies sell for a lot of money
Most people who buy that gorg long eared sad eyed pup don't know what they are letting themselves into and all of the training and excersize that they need as they grow older.

A rescue bitch should have been spayed. Poor thing, having littlers of puppies is not my idea of giving a dog a better life.
