Meet Millie and Merlin 2 of our arrivals from Ireland last week.

Millie is a sweet and playful Sprollie although must confess that I don't see an awful lot of Springer in her, maybe a quarter Spaniel threequarters Collie.
She is an intelligent and reasonably obedient girl of aound 18 months old. She is very good with the other dogs but can be a little bossy when playing. She is improving now after being introduced to our pack . They stand no nonsense.

She will be looking for a home preferably with another dog and children over 8 years old. She is quite bouncy .






Millie is neutered and vaxed.





Then there is Merlin who is stealing everyones heart. He is a gorgeous little Foxhound pup of 15 weeks. He can be quite naughty but in a way that is just so appealing!

He will be looking for a very special home that understands how wilful a fully grown Foxhound can be.





Merlin is vaxed and will need to be neutered when old enough.

Both these dogs were saved from pounds by the Irish angels.
They are now fostered with us on Oxon/Bucks borders.

Merlin does look a sweetie........ but I have Sandy's workers post very firmly in my mind!!!!

Any update on Merlin, Jackie?

Our house move doesn't seem to be happening particularly quickly, so I am working rather hard on DH to convince him that we should consider our next addition sooner rather than later , since I have time on my hands now!

I've seen pictures of him growing up since 7 weeks and although he would be very easy to fall for I have not enough time on my hands to be taking on a young foxhound....if I could offload the kids and hubby then I would probably be able to take him in!!! Sounds like a good deal to me!

Merlin is still looking.
I'm finding it difficult to house train him as we have 9 dogs here now and for one reason or another we have them in seperate groups.
I take Merlin and Millie. his friend, out as often as possible but he does need more time spent on him.
He is drop dead gorgeous but quite vocal on occasions!

Does he "sing" Jackie? It is the most wonderful sound!

He sings like a bird Eileen.

Well an old Tawny Owl anyway!

Lovely that! I'll bet his nose hits the ground and he "gives tongue"! To the uninitiated it's a sound that makes your blood run cold in a thrilling sort of way! Probably because it's such a primitive hunting call.
