oh dear... happy to say mine don't show any tendencies like that

I'm sure you are far more sensible, and hopefully sometimes walk them separately and train them separately. smile.gif

indeed we do - technically Rufus is my son's dog - whilst Stellar belongs to the whole family - though most walks are together, if we want to start teaching something new we do work with them separately - we were actually talking about taking them to training classes alternate weeks as they are more focussed without worrying what each other is up to - not that they aren't doing well together, but we thought we might give it a go and see how much of a difference it makes (mind you a paid my fees for the privilege of Stellar rolling in horse poo - as the weather was nice the class was outside in the field - Stell did her sit, and stay, then came when i called... but i was too late with the lead and the whiff of her favourite substance was too much... i got her back eventually, but she then stunk... which meant all the other dogs in the class wanted to be her very best friend and started ignoring their owners rolleyes.gif biggrin.gif (It was inside this week!)

Ruby is a water babe - sea, stream and her fav - big deep muddy puddles but i agree with everyone - i would try and fence off a small area for them. The last thing you want at 11pm at night is wondering if one has fell into the river -

this comes from someone that spend a good deal of time outside very late at night in my dressing gown and wellies trying to get said pup out from behind the hedge biggrin.gif

Oh and PHOTOS please rolleyes.gif

Oh I see this debate was going on before I joined in Pen, thats not reading on my part laugh.gif

Am saying nowt ph34r.gif

Keep them safe from the water and stick with ST cos you are going to need that advice, from one that wears the TShirt with two bros and nearly broke, training em separate and now has Bam that we dont talk about laugh.gif

Yes indeed there are down sides and Pen you're spot on ...individual training is a must or you'll have a devil of a time trying to teach them and anyhow I thoroughly enjoy the one to ones, they're some of the best times wink.gif .

So... joeandtim...... take heed....littermates can work but there's no substitute for one to one training in my "short" experience wink.gif

well obviously my experience only spans 7 months of being a dog owner - but i think it has been a good decision for us - but alot of the credit does go to my son, he is fantastic with them and puts in hours of play/training/ each day, and it shows in their behaviour - (obviously he teaches things such as cow poo diving techniques - and how to open the container with curry powder in using only your nose when i'm not looking biggrin.gif )
