Just thought i would come on and say hi. We purchased our first Springer puppy yesterday and named him Alfie. We also have a 13 yr old Jack Russell who seems to be tollerating him so far.

Is there any where on this site that deals specifically with puppy issues, i haven't found it yet.

Hi Cathy and Alfie, welcome to ST! Congratulations on your la-*test*-('") addition. If you put your queries/questions under relevant bit and say how old Alfie is, no doubt you will get responses. Many members have pups or have had their springers since puppyhood so they will be able to help or just sympathise with you!

If in doubt i sling stuff in "springer chat"!

Hi Cathy and Alfie, (great name by the way!!) I will be around to empathise with you not saying I'll be any use with advice though. I already have Poppy who is Two and a half years old and we're going to pick up our new puppy, Wellington in two weeks time. So we'll be doing the puppy stage together

Welcome. No experience with pups from me I'm afraid, but loads of other folks have. There's a search at the top, stick a keyword in and I'll bet there'll be a thread about it! Shout up if not, someone's normally got some kind words of wisdom

my two are 9 months now so i did the puppy stage double!

We've got to 6 months old with Bailey, and are surviving. Seem to have forgotten most of the pain!

hello and and a big welcome to all your family. cracking pictures. I have 1 year old whom had from 10 weeks. all i can say is that as soon as one problems solved along comes another one when their babies, but.......it does get better and you do forget the bad days. the more you put in, the more you get out ........all worth it in the end...i think
