It's not too bad, the 3rd and 4th are my old girls, they are 12 and 13. The last one was the 'mistake'. I work in a dog refuge and last October a litter of 10 pups that were 2 days old were found in a carrier bag. I hand reared them and the other 9 were homed but Crocus was ill. He had been mauled by his Mother, had an infected umbilial cord and didn't eat. At 3 months he was blind and deaf and given a life expectancy of 3 months so I said I would keep him. 7 months on he can see and hear and only suffers with some brain damage which doesn't affect him other than to give him some completely unique characteristics - e.g. his tail stump wags up and down and not side to side! Dawson at the top is 7 months now and Chablie the 2nd is 15 months.
