It was hard day to get through yesterday and this morning has been a bit of a pig also as I have had to pack Lucy's little bits and pieces away because it is too upsetting to see them around the place.

Strange how even insignificant little things can just bring a lump in the throat and start you off again.

Many, many thanks to all of you for all your messages of support and condolences, they are really appreciated and do help because I don't think one would be human if at times you didn't question the decision that was made.

And Fuddles, thank you for your pm late last night, I read just before going to bed and it was a great comfort to me.

Lucy will always have a special place in my heart and she was the type of dog that will never be replaced.
