Molly was at the vets on Wed. He put three staples in the hole in her leg,more abtibiotics. Since then Molly has started hobbling about on three legs, is off her food, but thankfully sleeping alot! Went back to vet this morning, is concerned about her hobbling, cos before wed. she was walking about normally. Has to go back in on Mon. for an Xray and because her staples aren't holding the hole they will put some stitches in Not too concerned about the food as I think both are teething! After the Xray, he will phone the specialist and discuss the next stage

Tracy sorry to hear Molly is still no better, ask him for an appointment with the specialist rather than him just talking to him on the phone. Who actually done the op your vet or the specialist? Before they put her under again ask him what would be more beneficial an xray or MRI? The poor little girl has been pulled around enough and your nerves must be shot to pieces

Did you hear anymore from the newspapers?

The first op was by our vet, then after he wasn't very happy,he organized for the specialist, which I was rather pleased about, obviously admitting that he wasn't sure, and wanting the best for Molly! So I have a lot of faith in him and he is very highly thought of by a lot of people,and is in contact regulary with the specialist. I think if there was anything underlying with her elbow, the specialist would of found it as he was very thorough. My vet did suggest going to the specialist, but as it was Saturday, would probably not get an appointment till the end of the week. So she is booked in for 9.20am Monday, I will mention about an MRI when I go, and if he thinks it might be advisable then that is what I will opt for, I told him I was worried about her having another GA,and about her maybe needing another op. Sadly there is nothing I can do now but wait and see

There will probably be something in Monday's paper. My OH emailed him some photographs of the scene of the accident! Been a bit busy and frustrated, so not done a new topic yet! Will try and post over the weekend.
