Its Ok John, I asn't meaning are you taking the mick, I just re-read my post and realised it could be misconstrued, I meant everyone else not to take the mivk out of me if they thought my question as daft.
I've just pre cut the material so that when the mattress toppers arrive we are one step ahead, due to the nature of the ateroproof material being strong and a oops to sew, you've ended up with one just under dimension requested width ways and the other just over dimension width ways so I hope that's all right unsure.gif
The material is heavy and unless you've you've got a really huge sewing area to spread it out on it pulls to one side and trying to juggle heavy material and feed it through the machine is a killer. It's an aerobic workout while you work laugh.gif

Can I have one normal one with a waterproof cover please. Let me know total cost and where I send my pennies.

Thanks
Gwen

After checking p&p prices could we ask those who have expressed an interest
in the 2" memory foam dog beds please confirm that they would be happy to
cover the p&p charge which after enquiring should come to no more than £5.
The beds will weigh approx 2kg and if we include the p&p in the original
price quoted for the beds then we feel we won't be raising hardly any money
for SWSW :-(, certainly not enough to cover the time and effort it takes to make them. sad.gif
A standard size memory foam Springie dog bed could cost as much as £70
elsewhere and we can halve that price and make one with a removable cover
for £25 but only if we don't include the p&p, now we know postage costs we
have to therefore ammend the original price to £30 per standard size bed
which includes either one removable cloth cover or a waterproof cover and p&p. Extra cover is still only £5 but will only be added if requested.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and if those who were
interested before would now like to change their minds please let us know
ASAP.
Both Sandy and myself are making these beds when we have the time which
will mean working into the wee small hours after all our other work is done
and every penny raised by selling these beds will go straight to SWSW where
we can continue helping the Irish dogs and Jackie & Roger at Bernwood
Springer Rescue.
We would really appreciate that the people who originally expressed an
interest could do so again so we know that you are happy to pay for the p&p
and if you could pay through paypal by using the SWSW account of
swswirishdogs@hotmail.com or if preferred send a cheque made payable to
Springer Welfare South West to either Sandy or myself.

Thanks
Sandy & Selina

Gwen do you want a waterproof cover with a top cover as well or just the waterproof cover? We've got a few nice bits of material now and I'm using velcro but if anyone would prefer a zip let me know, I worry that the zip might jam up rolleyes.gif
but the velcro we've got is about 2" thick and sticks like, well you all know the saying laugh.gif laugh.gif

Cheers
Sandy

springergirl if you have apaypal account already set up, then you add the paypal address to the recipient's details and pay that way

swswirishdogs@hotmail.com

If you haven't got an account set up yet just go to the paypal webby address and it gives clear instructions on how to open an account and transfer money from your bank smile.gif

Thanks all.

oooo a HUGE parcel just arrived at work, thanks Sandy / Selina.

I haven't opened it yet, keeping it all wrapped up till I get out the office door in case I can't fold it up again, but I have had a quick peep and it looks amazing.

Something tells me Marlster's not going to be snoozin on the settee anymore!!!! laugh.gif

Any of these beds left Selina- I missed all of this - . I can think of a springer or two who would love and deserve one......

Gundogs.inc- 07-11-2008
How many would you like unsure.gif Just with top covers or with waterproof ones as well? You can pm either Selina or myself for more details but Selina is galavanting about the country until Monday so if it's not urgent she'll be in touch then wink.gif

Sandy

yep we can definitely add another bed or two to the list although it seems Sandy is doing far more bed making than myself at the moment, sorry Sand's, having just returned after the not so Cold and wet Nose Show I have a mammoth amount of post that needs opening, calls that need replying to and transport runs for dogs that need help to organise, so why am I sat here on ST, well that answer's itself doesn't it ph34r.gif
I'm obviously not really here. laugh.gif
