Meg went for her first haircut today (see pics below) - i think the clipper lady got a little over excited in some patches where she some pink skin shows through a little - but she is now ready to get out there in those bushes without bringing half of them home! Her collar now falls off of her so will have to purchase yet another new one..... having said that - the haircut has revealed a little tummy which could do with toning up - plenty of walks and im sure we will both be more svelte and toned - well heres hoping anyway!!!

meg has been with us now 3 weeks - we are doing very well ... we have enjoyed christmas and are looking forward to a waggy new year!!! - happy new year to all from us!

She is lovely.
Tis winter though laugh.gif Maybe you should go and buy her a coat biggrin.gif

Sorry i like my springers to look like springers loads of coat and hair in the winter.. twas put there for a reason laugh.gif My two will be cut down in the summer.
Personaly i loved the before pic and thought that she looked wonderful.
Tis no fun walking a springer unless you have to get the brambles out of their coat.

Must say well done to you and lucky her...... have fun and enjoy.

i know jill - is rather too short for this time of the year! The clipper was as I say a tad too over excitable with her cutting.....she has had to sleep under the duvet with us to keep warm and the heating has been left on throughout the day (although she doesnt seem to bother about the cold on a walk!) ... s

My two have been clipped short too - not because they look better but because it is more practicle - the mud and burrs tend to slide of a short coat ao the furbabies can still enjoy their usual walk when its all muddy and mum and dad have to be at work - would mean shorter walks if they had to be bathed in the mornings too

Get on to K9 knitters, they'll have a lovely woolie just for Meg - keep her just as warm as the hairy springers tongue.gif
