Hi All,

We have Triumph with us, and he is keen to meet you all on Sunday 13th July @ Edited, should have said, please pm venue details wink.gif We are thinking the walk will be 1-1.5 hours ish, we can tailor it to suit (we are talking a gentle stroll, not a power walk mind!). People can peel off according to preference.

10:30am meet-up , however if you are coming from a way off we can wait for you!! Then to a pub for some lunch, suggestions welcome. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Hoping lots can make it, so far, Baggins, Loobylou and Barkingmad are on board, Degusuki is hoping to make it, but looks doubtful for the Sunday. We will be pleased to see as many of you as possible however!

Post here or PM me if you are interested and I will send venue details and directions.

Hope you are all still up for the Bristol Rally next Sunday.

If anyone needs directions, please let me know, or if meeting at my house would be easier I will PM you the details.

Going to find a pub for lunch, hope the weather is good!

Remember your pound coins and I'll make the donation to ST. Triumph is looking forward to seeing you all!

Well, we are just back from this mornings walk - and as they say in this part of the world it was LUSH - in fact I would go so far as to say - GERT LUSH!!!!

Many thanks to Kate for organising us all - the weather was lovely and we had a good leg-stretch and spring around - the little yellow dog also did very well (despite the rather regular wee stops!!!!).

So nice to meet a bunch of lovely springies and Tess the honorary springer!

Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Roly is worn out - found a shady spot for a sleep and some sweet dreams of his new friend Bailey!!!!!!!!!! biggrin.gif

KatieKoo- 07-13-2008
Bailey in missing Roly already. I have lots of lovely pics, they are uploaded to the PC and I am about to brave Photobucket! rolleyes.gif

And I have great pleasure in anouncing that we raised £20! Shall I write a cheque and post it with Triumph Vic? Can you pass it to the right person? biggrin.gif

We had a lovely day, and it was great to meet you all. I also have pics of the ladies in their new Petra Coats! cool.gif

We look forward to the next Bristol Meet, sometime in the very near future!

Well done guys! You can paypal the money if that's easier, just to donations@itsaspringthing.co.uk I think.
Someone'll be along to say in a bit, I'm sure (MARY??? FUDDS??) biggrin.gif

KatieKoo- 07-13-2008
Paypal is playing me up, problems with bank account details or something, so going to have to post a cheque, but there is an address on the money thread, so will send it there unless anyone wants it elsewhere!?

Just let me know, am hoping to post Triumph by Wednesday, will do cheque at the same time. biggrin.gif

I'm not sure about posting it to Freya at the minute, cos she's moved? I'll ask about. If it's easier for you, then you're welcome to send it here and I can add it to ours. smile.gif

KatieKoo- 07-13-2008
Hubby's PayPal account is still up and running, so just about to send to donations@itsaspringthing.co.uk. Money should be with ST shortly!

It was great to meet you all and to have such a lovely walk in good weather and in a good cause too, what better way to spend a Sunday morning! Bilbo was flaked but I was really pleased with him for coping so well, the little yellow dog (Frodo) has also finally ground to a halt but he had even more exercise as he also spent the afternoon being dragged around the park ... think we need to look at how much we're giving him to eat and drink though!!! (Tonight he even had to have some food in a dog bowl and he did a very good stay till Ben told him ok!)

Looking forward to another one some time soon smile.gif

Liz where are you based?

KatieKoo- 07-14-2008
Hi Lizzie, there are a few of us in the Bristol area, if you need to meet up with some other Springer owners. Also, pick a forum and post your questions, there are bound to be people on here who have experience whatever you are going through. Just ask away!
