If you remember a week or so ago I was fostering a lovely little Brittany girl called Lady, a family in the next village along offered her a wonderful home with thier GSD boy Max and Terrier X Suzy, the lady I know quite well and she also works in my village shop, my mother has just called this evening to say she has had to have Max PTS, he was taken to the vets unable to stand He has had several joint problems for some time and the vet's opinion was that it was growing pains, it sadly turned out to be quite widely spread cancer

He was such a HUGE soft teddy and only 14 months old I can't believe he's gone, he cried when Lady pinched his ball and hid behind his mum He came to live with the family as she popped into a cafe one day for a cup of tea and overheard a conversation about an unwanted litter of GSD's at 14 wks that were going to be put to sleep so she went home with a dog instead of the shopping! At least for his time he has been so well loved and had a wonderful life, but such a short time it's been
