Thanks everyone for your kind wishes. Ethel was very confused, but seems to be settling now. She will have to be on her own for a few weeks, firstly to make sure she doesn't have any infection, but also we are away for a week and I can't leave the neighbours to settle new chooks. Kids are sad, they are quite attached to them. I hope Ethel won't be too lonely.
