I am getting so confused by all the different types of blades/coarseness/gaps etc on these. Has anyone got some of these and if so what should I be looking for, bearing in mind the boys coat, although it feel soft and gentle to touch is alot lot thicker than Holleys. Holleys is very soft, fine, light and becoming very fluffy. The boys coats are not coarse or wiry but very dense and going very curly too, lol so what sort of gap/coarseness/blades etc am I best off looking for to use on the boys? Is a Coat King the best thing for the boys?

Are these ones suitable for Holley? She has been speyed and I really dont want to trash her coat, just make her look a little tidier and get rid off the patches of longer dead ginger hair thats sticking up on her back.

Also what type of scissors are best used on the feet. Up til now I ve alwys used an ordinary pair of small household scissors. Is that the best type to use?

Get a 12 blade coat king and use single edged thinning scissors for the feet and hocks

if she is a shedder u cant beat a furminator its briliant, pricey but oh how my dyson vac has breathed a sigh of relief

Mary, would that be suitable for use on the boys AND Holley or would I be better getting different grades for them, Holleys coat is so fine in comparison to the boys

Just been looking at furminators on ebay, lol, another thing for me to worry over

12 Blade shhould be OK for all, I use this on all breeds, even when I am handstripping
