Bought this book after a couple of reviews in the Daily mail sunday girley rag aka you magazine. Its all about an american labby (apparantely they are different to english labby's and he looked much lankier in the photos - also even more wired and boisterous). Anyway it tells the story of the author John Grogan and his family and their life with Marley all the ups and downs getting kicked out of dog school, dragging a table across the street to meet a poodle etc. It was a lovely book which I managed to read cover to cover in a day (Im a bit like that with books, once purchased not put down until Ive finished). Thoroughly recommended or if anyone would like Id lend it out....if im convinced it would be returned biggrin.gif

My friend is just reading this - in between grabbing the kleenex ohmy.gif

She's going to lend me it. I'm very much like you, I haven't really time to read but if I get my head in a book - that's it. Nothing gets done

I sobbed my way through it too, so much so that it wouldn't be suitable to lend to anyone as most of the latter pages got wet rolleyes.gif
