Hubby and I have 2 weeks off and would like to get away from the teenagers for a week. Last time we had a week off at home we had to cope with....
Day 1 - daughter flooding bathroom Day 2 - repair hall ceiling which came down as result of above. Day 3 - spent day finding a new tyre for son's bike cause he was stranded at ork with a flat Day 4 - Take other daughter to emergancy dentist because of an abcess Day 5 - Managed to have a day out with the pups. Day 6 - Repair problems in bathroom Day 7 - Shopping before returning to work.
So you see why we want to go away! lol Now question is, are we mad for thinking about going away with 2 4month old pups? No way would I leave them at home with my teenagers. We are thinking of a cottage somewhere like the peak district, nice walks, chill out time.
What do you think?

I'd think it sounds like a fab idea. We always take ours (all 5 of them) to the lakes for a week, lots of walking, lots of swimming, lots of sitting outside pubs - perfect We even taken friends along, so this year had 8 dogs in one cottage

We always take our 4. Id take a crate with you as they may get stressed in a strange environment and wreck the place!
2 4 mth old pups will be a greater pleasure than 2 teenagers I think!
Gilly, where do you go that allows 5 dogs? We always struggle to find somewhere?
