I have been doing some lead training with my two, Springer & Lab. They are both fantastic alone now, but I've tried walking them together and its all straight back to square one!!

I've trained them with the changing direction method, and as I say, separately they have responded brilliantly.

As soon as they are together they start pulling like trains again, and no amount of changing direction is helping!

Any ideas? Or am I stuck walking them separately forever?

Edit to say: I completely forgot I had registered on this forum 2 years ago!! So hi again! smile.gif

Hi
My two girls are the same . They walk great when they are out on their own but as soon as they are together its a competion to see who can get in front first laugh.gif
Have tried loads of diff training but when they are together they go on gentle leaders to keep my arms in my sockets laugh.gif
Thankfully they are mostly only on lead for 10 mins or less until they are let off for free run. Coming back is a diff story and their leads are on their backs laugh.gif
Sure someone will come along with some good advice for you soon.

Meant to say that I've been resorting to my Gencons when taking them together, but didn't today and regretted it!!! rolleyes.gif

Have you tried using a brace? That way they pull against each other and make it a little easier for you (unless they actually cooperate and go the same way) smile.gif

Not sure what a brace is! huh.gif

Edit: Have just searched Ebay and now know! It's worth a try, I'll try and get one today and report back.

You should see my kitchen drawers - full of different types of leads and other things like Haltis and harnesses!
