A few more from the weekend, weather was fab for Saturday, couple of showers first thing Sunday but then turned out sunny again Claire, Emily, Alice, Petra and myself went off blackberry picking Friday afternoon so we could make some blackberry & apple crumbles, little Alice was great and Emily is so clever until she dropped the blackberry tub Smashing girls Claire, you should be very proud of them Ruby was very excited and had a great time and was as good as gold and Darren drove brilliantly. I have so many pics, over 400 but just can't post them all up else I'd bore the pants off you all Thanks to my kitchen girls, Selina and Petra who were suitably rewarded by the FLC with a nice box of chocs for their hard work I went with Petra, Graham and Ryan for the Saturday course drive while Selina held fort back at the house dog sitting Then back at base by 1pm after getting stuck in the woods for nearly 2 hours, the conditions were pretty bad and not all the Landy's made it through Got everything ready for the BBQ while the rest went off on the road 'scatter' to be back for 6pm. We ate and drank far too much really, well I did anyway, not used to it By the time I got into bed at 1am after clearing up I could hardly keep my eyes open, then I was awoken at 2am because Pap fell off the bed and landed on top of Rosie who was sleeping on the floor at the side of the bed Up again at 5am to get sorted and cook up 40+ full fry ups, then while we cleared up the second drive went off, we got all the tea & coffee stuff sorted down at the camp field and loaded the tables with cakes and Micheles scrummy lemon meringue pie, thanks Michele Once everyone had talked through the mornings event and refreshed themselves the teams took off for the time trial, then back to base again for the prize giving. Then Landy's washed off and away they went, leaving just a few behind to leave today. The rain's back with a vengence now but we were spoilt for the weekend with the sunshine which was such a relief

It's a busy but great weekend, actually this year didn't seem anywhere near as manic as last year, must be us super duper organised girlies in the kitchen, I love doing the breakfast's, makes me wish I was back in the cafe with all the dockyard worker's

No-one ask Sandy about the vodka shots in the kitchen on the Saturday afternoon that no-one had
