Jesus did you all really go out in that weather ohmy.gif I was out driving in it yesterday and that was bad enough!
Lovely pics all despite the 'storm' smile.gif

Fudds if it's like that on the 22nd I'll be in the pub with everyone's drink on the bar laugh.gif

ellie&georgiesmum- 12-09-2007
laugh.gif Great pics Jase...we all look bloody freezing and in the pub me face matches the colour of me top biggrin.gif

Ellie&GeorgiesDad- 12-09-2007
Yeah, thanks for those Jase smile.gif

Just to emphasis just how bad it was out there... the photo of us outside the cafe was the START of the walk - look how wet Rachel's trousers were already!!!

All in all a great day with lots of fun trying to cross huge puddles and mud!!! laugh.gif
and it's good to know we've raised some money for the Ally Rally fund too!

Am pleased someone took piccies to prove how nutty we are! My camera stayed firmly in the car! OH would have had a fit if it got wet!

Would have had to take the boys out anyway at some point, so it was nice to walk somewhere different. (Thinks it was all worth it now am safely home and dry!)

Up@5- 12-10-2007
still laffin an shaking my head thinking about it but it was fun was'nt it

me dad left his camera gear at home as did i , he just brought the compact

was not a day for the expensive stuff

the pic of me carrying mac over the stream flooded footpath was because when we got to it he would not budge laugh.gif laugh.gif

thanks to rach and ben for organizing

smashing to meet you Kaz and the boys are just lovely smile.gif can see why u had to have both

KAZ40- 12-10-2007
Great to meet you too Jase - Mac is such a sweetie!

Just to worry you - my two wouldn't go near a puddle for the first 6 months and you saw what they were like on Sat!

Jenferdog- 12-10-2007
Glad you all had a good time, and sorry we couldnt make it, but still not really feeling up to it yet, just cant seem to shake off this cough and cold. Went for a walk on the valley park just over the road from us, but at least could get straight into the shower. Maybe next time?

By the way Jase, Harry used to love the water and couldnt keep him out of it, but he has developed an aversion to it too now. Very strange!

Ellie&GeorgiesDad- 12-10-2007
Sorry to hear your still poorly sad.gif

Hopefully we can arrange another Lancashire Walk in the new year and more people including yourself will be able to come along smile.gif

There was talk of organising a beach walk in St.Anne's (near Jase's) if i remember rightly. It's a nice long walk to the sea and we have done it a couple of times already!
