Just to let you know I've phoned the pub - somebody will be getting back to me on Monday. As I have said though don't panic if we can't get in as there is a café in the visitors centre next door.

I would be greatful if as many people as poss could confirm whether or not they will be attending so that I can advise the pub of numbers… don't worry if you are still unsure I just need an approximate number

i'm having central heating installed friday - sunday of this rally

it was going to be the weekend before , and i was going to kennel mac friday nite an saturday

its a mate thats doing it an stopping over working long days into evenings with me helping where i can

now saturdays not a prob he says but

i'm a bit at a loose end as to what to do with mac as i've no-one can look after him do i kennel him take him out saturday then take him back to the kennels which means me dad running me around everywhere an cant see mac bein to happy hi dad bye dad ect

Hm...it prob would be quite unsettling for him...im not too sure what to suggest

i know thats what i thought tis annoying as i want to do this event be good for mac and be great to meet some members

but i'm also kinda stuck with no hot water or heating other than a front room fire an a leccy heater so cant change installing date

Dont worry jase there will be plenty of other meet ups

Just a quick update...

I've had trouble getting hold of the pub again, they didn't get back to me on Monday as promised.

I am now thinking the Visitors Centre option might be the best... I will try the pub again and get a definate arrangement sorted either way by the weekend.

Well It's only next door so I suppose the alcy's amongst us (me included) can always nip in

OMG - I cant believe I have missed this thread totally, its right on our doorstep - we live in Chorley, unfortunately we have arranged to do something else that day (scuba diving at Capernwray Lancaster - Harry and Meg have declined on that one!) However we have not been very well (bad coughs dont go well with scuba diving) so if we are still not well by then, perhaps we can join you? Have tried to find meeting point and time, but if you could re-post that would be great, and then could we maybe just turn up if poss?
