Ben and Mollys mum- 11-13-2007
Hi I am an avid lunchtime reader of this website but don't post that often Can anyone join in ? What distance will the walk be ?

Is it springers only cause as well as my springer Molly I may like to bring my Goldie with me ?

Ellie&GeorgiesDad- 11-13-2007
Of course anyone can join in and any your Goldie is welcome!

I will PM you the details.

Where are you from, just out of interest?

Ben.

Ben and Mollys mum- 11-13-2007
Hi I am from Lytham St Annes, so it wouldn't be too far about 30-40 mins I think

I'll definately try and make it. How many people are you expecting ?

ellie&georgiesmum- 11-13-2007
Great stuff , at the moment there are about 8ish people comming (for defo) biggrin.gif

Ellie&GeorgiesDad- 11-13-2007
Aww we often take ours out along the sand allll the way up to the Sea at St.Anne's...

It looks like the following will be in attendance (with others yet to confirm):

*Me, Rachel and the 2 springies (and possibly 2 tag-alongs)
*KAZ40, her daughter and 2 springies
*Up@5 and little Mac the Springy
*lizzy23
*Ben and Molly's Mum (with Springie & Goldie)

I think there is a problem with the link for the map of the route I sent to everybody in the PM's. I will ask Rachel (aka technology wizz kid) to sort it out and send it again to anyone who would like it.

So shout up guys and girls if you would like to join the Rally and/or if you need any more details. Also I will pay a visit to the pub at the weekend when I have a better idea of numbers to let them know that us hungry walkers will be coming smile.gif

Thanks.

ellie&georgiesmum- 11-13-2007

Ellie&GeorgiesDad- 11-14-2007
It’s on 8th December.

Do you think you will be able to make it? If so let me know and I will send you a PM with all the details.

Ben smile.gif

Ellie&GeorgiesDad- 11-14-2007
Looks as though (so far) it will be around 10 'humans' making the walk... I can't see there being any problems with the pub accomodating us... there is also a Visitors Centre with cafe if we do have any probs.

I will go (prob on Saturday), with approximate numbers and report back. As I said before when I last went into the pub there were plenty of owners with dogs so it seems very dog friendly... hopefully it will be nice though and we can sit outside biggrin.gif

Ellie&GeorgiesDad- 11-19-2007
Hi again everyone,

Unfortunately we were unable to go to Roddlesworth over the weekend meaning I haven't yet spoken to the people at the pub.

I will however ring them at some point during this week and post the outcome.

We have the Visitors Centre (next door) as a reserve who have already said that as long as they know numbers they will be able to accommodate. They too do snacks and sandwiches (but no beer sad.gif ) so either way we will be able to finish with refreshments.

In the meantime, is there anyone else who would like to come on the walk? The more the merrier smile.gif

Ben.
