Heading from St Andrews to Anstruther or Crail along the coastal route is a little village called Kingsbarns ,look for award winning beach signs and turn left. You will find a cracking beach open to dogs, a picnic area, and a little pool, surrounded by rocks ideal for the dogs swimming, only thing is if you go on this beach the luckydogs will bark at you because it's THEIRS laugh.gif or thats what they think!

Not waiting for the stampede as it's not too well signposted and sometimes it's just us there, the East Neuk would freeze the kn*****s off you so not the same number as the English Riviera laugh.gif Still it is incredibly beautifull and a great part of Scotland.

Heading in the other direction from St Andrews you also have Tentsmuir Forest, another fab place with miles of sandy beach and quite often a bit of seal watching.

My two love it there because there is a long area of sand dune between the sea and the forest with loads of less salty water to swim and splash in.

And the secret underground bunker at Kingsbarns is a facinating place to visit for us oomans. biggrin.gif
